Field execution
Pruning and clearing carried out after the permit is issued, with licensed crew and registered equipment.
Technical responsibility
- Forest Engineer — with active technical responsibility record (ART) for tree pruning and clearing.
- CREA-PE — valid professional registration for field technical supervision.
- Environmental permits — ASV, tree pruning and vegetation suppression in APP or legal reserve areas.
All field work is conducted under the guidance of a licensed technical manager and with the environmental documentation required by the competent agency.
- Work supervised by a technical manager, a Forest Engineer, with technical responsibility record (ART).
- Cutting starts only after the environmental permit is issued by the competent agency.
- Operators licensed to carry and operate chainsaws, with equipment registered at IBAMA (Law 12.651/2012, art. 69).
- PPE under NR-6 and work at height under NR-35 when a platform is used.

Frequently asked questions
- Does pruning also require authorization?
- Generally yes in urban areas for trees, under municipal rules. Emergencies follow a specific track but still require notification.
- What if the site clears more than authorized?
- That is unauthorized clearing, subject to fines and extra offsetting. Hence the balance control per authorization.
